“The sea holds many secrets”

A drawing a made for my grandparents. They asked me to draw something for them and I really wanted to make a leviathan and here we are


I was mainly inspired by Subnautica. When I was a kid I had a fascination with deep sea creatures. With how unique and cool they are.

I haven’t finished subnautica but I remember the terror of the reaper. I somehow managed to scan him, and I’m to this day proud of it.

The sea can be in general just really frightening. We humans are at the end of the day land creatures. So in the sea we are most vulnerable.

I really liked the idea of the mouth opening in different sections, like the Demogorgon from Stranger Things.

So I thought I could give this monster a flower/flytrap vibe. Hope y’all enjoyed
