Cave Ambience Sounds

Quiet, dark, and wet, the Lilliput Cave now surrounded the party. They made their way through, weaving between puddles and ponds, finding and opening gifts, until eventually, they happened upon a sleeping bear.

The bear laid still, snoring. The party very carefully crept around the bear, making sure not to wake it. Jeffeus almost tripped and nearly woke the bear, but they were able to get across safely.

Now, the only thing that stood between them and the exit was a shining light, and a deep voice. It spoke menacingly, "So, fabled hero of the…" but it paused. A tall dark figure peered out of the light, staring directly at the party.

"What do we have here? A litter of runts… You came here to take MY Sanctuary location, didn’t you? I could take you there... your cold, dead bodies. Come! Try to take it from me!"

The light faded away, and the towering figure of a mole stood, prepared for combat. Its claws were red with blood, and its eyes were practically glowing the same color.

If the party were to wake the bear, it would have triggered a fight with a Mighty Bear, and two Mr. Batties. I made sure to make Mr. Batty the most pathetic enemy in the campaign. They literally have a move that attempts to charm a creature, but ends up just charming itself.

"Mr. Batty becomes friendly and affectionate."
