Also been a long time since i wanted to try this "style" – not sure if it can be called that since it's basically just skip lineart and simply color the refined sketch.
But it looks so expressive! I like being able to keep the looseness of the sketching process. It goes extremely well with simple flat coloring (i think because of the contrast in detail).
I think adding some effects to make it pop more would do better than adding shading/rendering but I'll experiment and see. I'm open for ideas 
WIP! MC finally has a name too: Esther 
which I think suits her energetic and positive self very well, while still having that rough charismatic edge to her.
Also, time to try the thin lineart style that's been calling out to me for some time now °v°
