Hello everyone!
Welcome to the August 2024 Status Update! Can you believe summer's end is approaching? I sure can't! Development on this game started in November 2023, and it's already August! I can't believe how far we've come!

It honestly feels like Undertale Cyan went much onto it's own path, straying off of the general Undertale soul prequel fangame recipe. I hope that makes you happy, once we release the demo, but that's still a bit far.

[Development Update]

As stated last time, the Demo halfway point is getting ever-so-closer! In programming, we have reached a key point that introduces a few new mechanics! That includes; Parrying, Dashing and Overworld Bullet hell! But we're going to be at that point for a while, if what we plan on doing actually happens. Basically, we plan on re-writing the whole Demo script, with the help of our Awesome composer, and now writer; Hadulm! Of course, that does mean coming back to the areas done already, so it might take a while before we actually do anything new. You might say that we shouldn't, since that means the Demo is going to release a little later than you all wanted, but i assure you, this change might be great. The story will be much more clearer, the dialouges will be much more lively etc. So you have no choice but to wait a little longer, but get a better game! Also, that doesn't mean that when me and Hadulm are working on the script, everyone else will not be working! Me and artists will work on new concepts, Composers will conceptualize new tracks and so and so. If we don't have any coding done by next month's Status Update, we will make sure to show off all the concepts done by that time.
