Untitled Voxel Project 01


I've always wanted to get into a different game genre. This game will hopefully be my greatest. I don't plan to make this into another Minecraft clone, instead, I am thinking of removing the cubes and using calculated geometry to make the terrain more realistic. There is a lot to be done and I am hoping to put this on Steam for anyone who wants to buy it once it releases.

Think I might have made an ARG by accident

Clouds now respond to sun light via Ambient Occlusion.

I created a mock up heads up display. This isn't implemented as I just overlayed the last image with this.

The health is the red bar, the green bar is stamina, and the inventory is the boxes in grey.

I am using AI to remake the paintings (I'm by far not a good artist and can't produce the same results) First is AI, Second is original.

Finally, volumetric clouds. Still looks like source game from 2008, but I am proud of it

This explains how development is going:

First test of creating an opengl game engine for UVP which I officially named "Skies Above" (I am very indecisive and I may change it if people don't like it)
