Update on "Cathy's Adventure!"

please read the article below


Hello, I have said in a previous post days ago, about the playable test releasing possibly this December, well I may need a bit more time than I thought to get things done, I try my best with how the whole thing works and keep it simple as first time making a platformer, and with personal life matters happen I have a slow development but still want to see an end to it for now.

Until then, if you have some questions about the game, let me know in the comments and I'll try to answer, but that depends too, because I dont want to spoil anything in this game before you guys try it out!

Next up

Game has been update to v0.2.0 and its currently out!

including redesigned sprites, improved controls and levels!

I think I'll change the background of the level, maybe make it seem like, actual mountains and a bit of nature look, also a bit of better visual attack lines for Cathy. #game #gamedev #showcase #art

Before and After.

Been a rough time doing and polishing the sprites for a few things but after a few overnights and months later this is how it will look like, and that's the appearance of the Forest levels.

AFter a long time, I finally finished Cathy's new walk cycle.

also the sprite I made in 2022 for comparison.

All that's left is the coloring.

Next up, probably animating her idle and jump/fall animations
