Update on the engine port!


I've got loads of progress to share with you! I've built a campaign/level loader that's pretty robust and should allow modded campaigns and levels. I've built easy framework for houses and lights.

I've been working on spawners and enemies and I've been looking into different movement types for enemies. (like pathfinding) No promises though. The game probably will still use the follow method without obstacle detection when it releases. This type of stuff is hard to get right since nothing is lined up on a grid so I've been doing research trying to find the best solution to this problem. I've been working on this issue for a while and is the reason I've been in development hell for so long. I've went through 3 different versions of this game that should have only taken me 2 to 3 years max but I enjoy what I learn from it. Anyway I'll hopefully have more to talk about soon.
