when you level up, you'll get a stat point like in the last game. open the menu (M on the keyboard, or start on a gamepad) and spend your points to get a little stronger. gameplay has gamepad support, but menu and shops require a mouse.

some of the ledges and torches that help guide the path now. definitely much easier to find the right path/climb the towers now.
I have yet to beat the boss without taking damage, he always gets me at least once lmao. maybe you can do better :D
