worked on several of the mechanics (gui, grid placement, speed scaling, card selection, etc)


to explain some things shown in the video..

  • the game is paused while viewing the card inventory

  • button in the top right controls the game speed, including card recharge timers (which is a bit difficult to do in godot)

  • cards only recharge when they are stored in the hotbar

next for me to work on is adding the basic enemy and their interactions with the player units
