Chapter 4 (K) is DONE! And about time too - that's my longest level to date.
With that, Phase 3 (of 3) Milestone 2 (of 4) is now done! The end of this 7+ year project is finally nearing completion, and I can't wait to share it with you all.




While working on level select for this game, I reviewed some levels and decided to update them. Here are some shots from the new and updated levels:
Will be away from home for about 2 days. Finished the first map of the story and sliding doors before I left, but couldn't post it here unfortunately.

Octocannon. It's a cannon with tentacles or maybe an octopus with a cannon where its head should be, I don't know.


Lighting really does make all the difference (a daily screenshot from the map I'm working on)

Some new background elements in Chapter 4 (N). The sky's a little less barren now that there are more floating rocks off in the background.
These also use 3D depth for accurate scaling, parallax scrolling, and distance fog.




The simple block preview for Endless Drop mode had to be overhauled to support new blocks and for better view.
