Hmm, ok i don't think I actually need those variables, at least not all the time.
I should be able to use lengthdir_x and lengthdir_y with my target coordinates to clamp the value in a circle around the player.
I just don't know how X'D

Loading...I have created a new desert tileset for the game's first area and fully animated the astronaut protagonist! What do you think?

Loading...For day 550 of coding, I tried implementing having the overall size of the map be randomized. It appears oddly stretched in some cases when the whole map is visible, but having a camera zoomed in on the player would not make it an issue
