Been busy! To make my summer release window for Skeeter's Grid, I'm trying to complete a few levels each week while concurrently prep for Next Fest in February. This unfinished "Phase 3" shot features several new circuit types on a more complex board.

Worked on some smoke effect animations for the player and enemies.

Loading...The functionality for allowing the player to unlock things is the latest feature to be completed. We're getting close to the "just need to round out the content" phase of Strange Recipe's development!

Making a game is hard, time consuming, and doing everything alone is almost impossible.
So, we now work with a comic artist, who's helping us improve the game's storytelling while we focus on #gamedev.
I think the difference is basically night and day!
