I’ve played the game, and it has potential but there are a few things I suggest that can improve the game:
Try and reduce the size of the office. Make it maybe slightly smaller and more compact. It’s difficult to reach certain buttons, specifically the button to turn on the monitor, and allowing the player to reach every button without having to walk to it feels better to play.
You should add a map layout for the camera buttons, as well as a height adjuster so people who are sitting can reach the cameras.
Lighting and graphics can be improved. I recommend using baked indirect lighting and ambient occlusion. Tone down the bloom as it’s very blinding, and adjust your metallic and smoothness values, toning them down as a lot of objects look glossy which doesn’t look that good.Â
You should adjust the camera positions so that you don’t see the ceiling of the rooms. The FOV should also be lowered for some of the cameras like the dining hall as to see the target area more clearly.
The performance is not that good. There is a lot of screen tearing when looking at the hands or during the game-over section. I recommend lowering the total tri count of your assets as well as relying less on realtime light and shadows.
There are a lot of bugs, mainly with the AI and cameras.
Getting a power-out won't stop the AI, and if you keep the camera on the left hall corner, the light would still show Freddy doing his power-out sequence. Bonne will also still appear at the door. I recommend having an object that blocks the corner hall lights, only being rendered by the player camera and not the hall cameras.
Also when Freddy enters the office to kill you, he teleports to the center of it but if you walk slightly away from that center, he won't kill you unless you walk into him.
how can I make a camera system like this in unity?
can you guys make this on quest
i am excited to see this game grow and evolve
