What do you think?

Really love how this looks so far, the Frutiger Aero theme is nice to look at, it reminds me of old Playrix games back in like 2014 (Specifically Fishdom)

I'll be checking it out once it comes out in November, excited to play this! ^^

Very promising!

The whole thing just brings a peaceful vibe.
Definitely coming back when it releases in November!

FinLab is a pet simulator and tycoon management blend about raising, managing, and selling fish. The fish however are a variety bizarre and strange fish species. Your goal is to keep them happy and satisfied, to sell them to buy even more exotic fish.

Unlock strange fish such as fruit themed fish, to undead skeleton fish, to satanic manta rays, and more. Exploration and discovery is key to your success.

FinLab also contains an in depth breeding and genetics simulation, which allow you to breed any attribute on any fish in and out.

There are also tank themes and decorations to unlock to design your own tank. It's your tank and your own sandbox.

FinLab 1.2.2 - Hotfix 2

FinLab 1.2.1 - Hotfix

FinLab 1.2.0 - A small content update + important announcement! Read below:

Last thing to do is write a few wiki entries, QA, and if nothing bad comes up I'm going to send it out. It's a pretty small update compared to Time & Temp. But burnout on FinLab is setting in so I'm going to push my last bit of energy on this update.

By winning races, you will earn a new currency called sea dollars. You can spend this currency to unlock a random novelty duck (no duplicates). These are new decor items that count to 100%

Despite my recent unrelated prototype, I'm back to making 1.2.0. It will be the final content update for a while (probably). It's also relatively small. Today I was bug fixing/finishing racing, which used assets directly from the unrelated prototype.

I don't have much energy to work today, I'm extremely sick, so I think I'll take a day or two off (this is an unpaid hobby project anyways).

I got my test fish racing scene hooked up to the normal tank scene. The game now holds onto your save data in memory and loads it on return (this works for non-signed in users too). You can choose a species, genes and markings apply. It's very unpolished.

Even though I've been programming for years, sometimes computers confuse me. Just found the weirdest bug fix in a while.

Incredibly rough proof of concept for a racing minigame (Chao garden-like). I'm prototyping seasonal minigames which may net you unique rewards. Breeding also matters a lot here, higher breeding level = faster fish. Made in about 2 hours.
