WOW this game is AMAZING!!!! I positively love it!!! it has good music, cool character design, and lots of lore!!
I will say I ran into some glitches but after figuring out how to bypass them I managed to beat the Demo, and for a Demo its got a lot of fun length to it
one of the strangest and tbh really fun glitches is if you press the interact button with the rowboat while your still doing the climbing animation onto the rowboat, you'll sit down and the boat will go flying like a rocket in several directions, one time I flew all the way to the sun
this may be fun to do it is a glitch that I'm sure will be fixed :3 it seems if you wait till the climbing animation is over then interact with the rowboat it wont go flying and you can row normally, it only happens if you interact with rowboat while your still climbing it
despite that glitch I really love this game, especially the rope climbing mechanic, its really easy to manuever through the ropes and catch others if your falling
another thing I liked was how lively all the characters were, at the end the whole crew was busy at work grabbing bodies messing with the ship and talking to each other, it really felt alive to me
overall keep up the good work mydude I'll be sure to pick this game after its full release, best of luck to ya :3
hi
All right i might put this on my youtube channel :D
Overview
Gust of Wind is shaping out to be a story-driven stealth game, introducing a ruinous world shaped by long-gone civilization with pneumatic and wheelwork technology. Player takes the role of a sneaky seagull, utilizing his stealth and climbing skills to stay out of plain sight throughout missions involving sabotage in enemy camps, thieving, spying and such. The feel of the game takes inspiration from games like Thief, Deus Ex and the stealth missions in Operation Flashpoint.
Setting
There's a war going on with a barbarian force, fueled by ancient pneumatic war machines, which makes pressurized air a very sought after commodity. Player's home town is on the verge of being conquered, and its ability to defend itself is dependent on a ragtag group of villagers to sail across the seas to fill the air tanks. The remaining compressors in the world are very few and far between, and there's a constant race to gain control over them.
Development
After starting the project in the beginning of 2020, now in October 2021 all the core mechanics are done. There's one playable mission I'm bugtesting, to be released as a playable demo around next New Year. So far it's been a 3-man project with my friends helping with programming the dialog editor and composing music.

Beginning of the first (and currently only) level of Gust of Wind. Also, the first glimpses of a dialogue editor my friend is coding for the project.
