The backgrounds look incredible! Really nice use of light and shadows, with fine details. Great work!

This build focused on annoying bugs and improving quality of life. Before making new features we focus on killing as many new bugs as possible or already existing bugs. Special thanks to XICX for all his testing. - When you die and choose new game you aren't frozen anymore. - You can now properly load the game from a save file. - The camera now properly goes to the correct room when loading a save file. - Fixed a couple broken physics colliders in the save room corner, so no more falling into darkness. - When picking up a new item the item box is in the top center of the screen. The box that tells the name of the items you picked up. - Fixed the start screen text from overlapping the load box.

Wanted to start off by saying sorry for the lack of updates this previous week. Art is taking a little bit longer for a couple things. Mainly UI art. Read the full article in the post for more.

We got our new throne for the save rooms in the works. Hope you guys enjoy sitting on your new demonic throne every time you need to save.

We are making animations for the character sitting on the throne soon. Hope you guys enjoy the upcoming update.

Alright so after looking into Gamejolt's API system we think we can make Gamejolt trophies for you guys to unlock. This was found mainly through messing around. I might do a crack run at making unlock able Gamejolt trophies through playing the game.

Work in progress knight attack. We are aiming to get out first three monsters made so you got a variety of monster to fight in the demo.

We wanted some of the walls in our game to be broken and crumbled. Not all of them being the same look so we also made tiles for broken walls where we can mix and match the tiles to make an unlimited amount of designs.

For today's new art we got ourselves the low level boss door. It will end up animated with green fire in the eyes.

Here is the death and spawn animations for the normal zombie.

Here is the attack animation for the zombie. Everything is in the works so things can change. This is supposed to be a normal enemy for low level areas so they attacks aren't supposed to be big and stylish.

So we decided for the zombie we didn't want something that looks like so many other zombies out there.

The green/slouching enemy. So we are going with a more different zombie. One that focuses more around it's unique appearance. This is early WIP.
