This is an early in development, unnamed game I am making as a hobby.

Explore a vast network non-linear platforming levels, linear challenges, and more where the progression is procedurally generated. Each warp to an area is random and created upon save creation. Explore and fight your way through non-linear areas, and tackle bite sized challenges. Find your place in this world that is unique every single playthrough.

You play as Aiko, a girl who can use a diverse move set to reach extreme heights, distant lengths, and chain abilities together to go where no one has gone before. Movement is fast paced, and movement exploration is encouraged. Of course the movement offers enough precision to tackle tight platforming and enemy dodging.

However, the world isn't always as forgiving. Many foes will face you, from slimes, to garden gnomes, to pterodactyls guarding their nest. All in a variety of locations, from flaming hot skeleton deserts, to neon prismatic mines, and all the way to tropical islands and volcanos from a prehistoric time. You may also uncover hidden secrets such as crab merchants and hidden trinkets to collect.

It's your own personal challenge of platforming, unique to your playthrough. This game is targeting macOS and the Steam Deck.

I'm currently still conjuring this idea, but it's essentially half underwater, half mechanical/industrial, made a dome and some pipes which you'll use to travel to different domes.

I think that's enough coding side adventures for now, I still have some minigame ideas but they can wait. Going to start working on the second world. It's going to be water related (but with normal physics and no air mechanic)

Spent some time bug fixing/Adding QOL to the character creator + finishing controller support. I made my OC Kitsuneko Aiko in this game's art style. I'm not much of an artist, so I'm really curious what actual artists make. My character for reference:

Been working on polishing the character creator, I'm having too much fun lol. For legal reasons this is a joke, and this character will not be shipped with the game. The character creator sorta just works.

Have you ever been playing a game and wished you were playing as a different character? Either as a joke or because you love a specific character. One might turn to mods or fan projects, but what if you could just change the character in game like paint?

I'm starting to question if this is going to be my last Unity project. The Unity team has some serious QA problems, I have hit yet another road block. But it's Christmas morning, I'm just gonna sleep off my frustrations and take a day off.

Tomorrow I'm taking a much needed break due to the holidays, but tonight I got side tracked and started working on a side feature. It's a really cool one you rarely see in games. Artists, OC creators, and fandoms will all have a field day with this.

Finally was able to fix a weird collision bug in the pyramid! That one was bothering me for a while. It was just a silly mistake with enemy spawns.

Further procrastination, got this low poly animal pack, and also added some 3D text. Leaning hard into the Vaporwave feel. Idk it just feels right.

Low key got tired of programming + I'm exhausted from Christmas stuff all day, so I decided to work on some music. I cannot get the chords how I want them to. Jazz chords are really hard!
