NOTE: THE PREVIOUS ITERATION OF THIS GAME (AS SEEN IN THE BANNER AND OFFICIAL SCREENSHOTS) IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

The previous iteration has been removed in order to avoid confusion for anyone looking for the stuff I have been posting more recently.

Welcome to Your New Home

It started as just an ordinary day, but by nightfall, you found yourself taken captive, on your way to a new land, a new home, with new people. You don't know the rules, and you don't speak the language. If you try to run, they'll hunt you down. All you can do at this point...is try.

But That Would Be Too Easy, Wouldn't It?

Life isn't easy in this new village, but an attack by an unusual foe suddenly pushes ordinary cares by the wayside. Who were they? Why did they attack? What are these artifacts that they have left behind?

Back on schedule after a majorly busy weekend and already on a roll

That looks a little better Doesn't look the prettiest, but it is foundationally functional.

Call it a hunch, I don't think it's supposed to do that

Working on the inciting incident in the prologue and accidentally invented cloning

Let's try something different...

Only having about half an hour to work has actually proven quite productive. I have six actual enemies to work with now, at least in theory. A place to get started anyway

So tired This weekend and next weekend are going to be rough

Info dump day, filling in some of the story and environmental flavor Not going to get a lot done this weekend (if anything), so I didn't want to get started on anything big

Bit the bullet and made today an art day. Feels like I didn't get much done, but I'm not an artsy fartsy person, so I'm not very fast at it But I got the hair done at least

Still not positioning quite right, but at least I'm not diving into the river

Otherwise, we can cast, wait, quit, and button mash when we get a bite Still need to implement the fish itself, but we're almost there. And that is a gorgeous fishing pole

Honestly, I was hoping to get a lot more done with my fishing than this And "this" doesn't even work properly because I keep getting launched into the river Imma need to think about this for a while...

Barter is a go! I repeat, barter is a go! But watch out. Some NPCs value certain items more than others. You might get a good deal on something from one person or fork over some extra stuff for the same item from another person

Not part of the game necessarily (unless I can find a way to incorporate it), but since I mentioned the Star Feathers as level up currency, I thought I would share the story behind it. (Article)
