ZRDOOM 3.0
ZRDOOM 3.0 is a bot controlled level generator mod for doom 2. It makes procedurally generated maps with ACS scripting, by lowering sectors to form walls, altering sector heights, changing light level and adds in enemies with the same system. It produces maps with insanely mean gameplay that is flat out unfair in difficulty.
Exit switches and teleports rebuild the map with the a texture change, warp you back to the start of the map and make you play a new 'level' in the game. Once you complete a set of 'levels' in the map the game ends.Â
There are RPG elements in the mod. There are switches to upgrade your max health, movement speed and damage resistance... There are also powerups granted like doom spheres (like quad damages), regeneration of heath spheres and faster movement speed powerups every time the level rebuilds 3 times in a row.
Now there are HUBS in ZRDOOM! You start in a hub map.  Gargoyle switched allow you to go to other maps, teleports take you to new hubs, Satyr switches return you to the hub level.
In the first room the right switch selects mapset difficulty, the back switch selects maps to complete before the game ends, and the left switch makes the maps... Press the left and back switches multiple times to cycle through map difficulties and level counts to complete. To see a bot play the level, go to the console, type addbot, leave the console and then hit f12. Sometimes the bot will get stuck, to get the bot unstuck go to the console and type "puke 235" and then leave the console.
To select map difficulty flip the right switch in the first room multiple times till your difficulty you want pops up. Normal = TNT difficulty / Challenging = Scythe 2 difficulty / Insane = Hell Revealed 2 difficulty / Painful = Sunlust Difficulty / Hell Revealed 10 + slaughterfest 2069 = harder than any map known.Â
Flip the back switch to select the amount of maps to play, and then flip the left switch to build a map.Â
New In Version 4.0 of this mod is a change of source port due to it's Compatibility with reshade... I am now using Lzdoom in the mod. This is set up to sllow a reshade installation to be included by default with the mod to make it have next gen graphics. Due to that the new screeenshots are all reshade bumpamapped and many of them show custom textures loaded that are NOT in the mod.
This mod supports mods that replace enemies/weapons/textures with ones from other FPS games, just type "C:\zrdoom3\zrdoom.bst <mod pk3> <textures pk3>"Â into a windows run box and substitute the pk3 files names.
