This is the latest rendition of my ZRDOOM Random Level generator mods for Doom 2. This version has a totally new algorithm that was invented for it and has no bot support. Besides that it's pretty similar to zrdoom 3.0 enhanced...

It builds maps by altering sector floor/ceiling heights/textures, light level, and so forth. It spawns in enemies per map and even rebuilds levels to make new ones on the fly.

The maps it builds have very little balancing and have unbelievably hard gameplay. Due to that it's best to play with a built in bot.

As always, flipping the right switch changes difficulty, back switch sets up levels to beat before the game ends, and left switch builds the map. Do that in that order...
To spawn the bot type "addbot slayer" in the console and hit f12 afterwards after leaving the console.

The Bot can mess up horribly over and over again. If it does and gets stuck multiple times, just quit the port and restart to fix.

In the latest 2 builds of ZRDOOM 5.0 I tested 15 maps in the engine. 9 of them were beaten by the bot. 6 maps got fucked up by the bot. That is better than the 10/21 mesup rate of the previous build. #lzdoom #procedural

In ZRDOOM 5.0 the built in ZCajun bot can play the levels and beat them due to the ACS code rebuilding the map every 2 minutes and spawning in new enemies to make the bot find them. This prevents the bot from messing up for long... #lzdoom #procedural

Zrdoom 5.0 uses a system to create new levels on the fly in the engine by altering sectors heights/lighting/textures and line textures using 3000 lines of ACS code. It makes new levels in the engine, even in the middle of the same map! #lzdoom #doom
