1.5.10 OPEN TESTING!


open testing build changelog! everything is subject to change!

this is update version 1.5.10, tentative, early access  


minor changes:

- options menu:  

  - added subtitles and volume options (rip mute/unmute lol)  

  - options save when u restart the game now, it’s kinda poggers  

- pause menu:  

  - brand spanking new visuals  

  - new options like fullscreen, windowed mode, and the emergency death button (you know you want to press it)  

  - it plays one of 5 random songs when paused, some real bangers too:  

    - "2015"  

    - "dusk"  

    - "parallelogram_"  

    - "teeth"  

    - "silk"  

- cosmetics menu:  

 - now has two extra tabs for frogstation stuff (not just pets!)  

  - i switched up the visuals with a pixel effect on text transitions and arrows that turn gray if you hit the last page. (nice touch, right?)    

  - added music shuffling to the menu, which now has 6 total tracks, including:  

    - "Atlaz"  

    - "Saxinista"  

- graphics:  

  - slight fisheye effect on the screen just for funsies (doesn't affect gameplay, don’t @ me)  

  - made early areas look snazzier, you’ll notice if you squint  

- optimization:  

  - deleted a bunch of useless files so the game runs better now. gg me  

- dialogue:  

  - dialogue actually syncs with the audio now, no more awkward cuts. smooth af experience incoming  

- gameover and menu quotes:  

  - added almost 300 fresh gameover quotes, variety is the spice of life  

  - new menu splash text too. get ready to giggle  

- ambient sounds:  

  - added ambient sounds to places. if the music fails you, you wont be enclosed in silence anymore

- donate button:  

  - fixed a softlock issue, now it takes u to frogstation’s crib but there’s not much to do yet. press 0 to die and escape  

- music volume:  

  - turned down the music in some spots so dialogue actually pops  

major changes:

- resist arrest scene:  
 - completely revamped.  

  - added 2 new mechanics and swapped the placeholder officer with a real one. 

- new attack: "weed whack":

 - melee move available from the start.  

  - uses 8 ammo, spins around from the nut pumper gun (don’t ask).  

  - clears nearby enemies, it’s solid for tight spaces  

- subtitles:  

  - testers asked for it, testers got it. subtitles added, you're welcome  

- gameplay tweaks:  

  - cellblock b is less impossible now, thank me later  

  - enemy ai across the game got smarter. you’ll cry but it’s fine  

- cafeteria sequence:  

  - amped up the danger, it’s sweaty now  

- post-cafeteria section:    - added new content after the cafeteria, but it’s still rough. been fixing bugs but next update’s either the finished episode or a big chunk of story, so stay cool  

- credits:  

  - updated to include playtesters cuz they’re the real MVPs  

- secret event:  

  - put in a sneaky lil surprise tied to a specific option somewhere in the game. good luck finding it

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
