Hello!
It's been a while, hasn't it?
That's because I had mulled a break from development. But my area is still in "red zone" for COVID, so I cancelled it and was hard at work.
Now, my fighters can:
-Hit walls while running and dashing.
-Hit ceilings when jumping
-Jump up through pass-through platforms and land on them properly
-No longer jump infinitely when the input is held down.
-Can now double/midair jump!
-Can teeter/"Ottotto" over edges.
Next up on the menu is adding the "Pass" animations for ducking through pass-through platforms. Maybe later this week I'll finally be looking at grabbing ledges!
Attacking and footstooling will be added much later, when the main stuff is fully working. I'm ALMOST ready to make a demo video of my fighter code. I will post it on YT unlisted so I can give you all a taste of what you can expect from Super Smash Bros. Feud, but better, you know what I mean?
