This is probably gonna be the last post talking about ai prediction for several months untill i decide to revamp the neighbor's ai ENTIRELY but i decided to re-develop prediction and there's been a few changes that now makes the neighbor more powerful and threatening. I'm honestly really proud now because even with the neighbor being almost the same speed as the player he's still able to cut you off in the best possible ways, and the reason why i wanted to remake the system entirely was because it just didnt work fine especially when i decided to change the neighbor's speed to be much faster almost enough to reach the player. The old system worked so that when the neighbor couldn't see the player for atleast 3 seconds he would switch into prediction state and since the neighbor was so fast that losing sight was kinda hard it barely worked, but now the second the neighbor's blackboard (i use the blackboard to make the neighbor to do idle tasks and other tasks) says that he can't see the player anymore the ai immediately switches into prediction and starts thinking where you could possibly end up. I still ended up using the Environment Query System method since its the only good way to make ai prediction unless you wanna make things a bit harder and you wanna use the ai perception prediction into your ai. As i said before this is gonna be the last ai prediction post for several months but if anything bad happens to the system then i'll still make changes and improve everything.
