Devlog 1.3 The one after the one after the one after the demo (is it getting old yet?)

We didn't expect to get this far, and we definitely didn't expect the appreciation for the demo (even though it was hot garbage... we can only take so many steps at a time!)


Where have we been?

Okay so its been over half a month since an update, though there is a valid reason. After posting the previous devlog Michael fell ill with Influenza A, and we stopped working on it putting the game in the back for a bit. Then, as if saying fuck you, the world hit me with Atypical Pneumonia. (I'm still recovering.)

It's good to be back, and we are still here so don't forget about us just yet!


STATE OF THE GAME (yes I know this is what you guys care about)

Our current priority (as aforementioned) is to polish the game as much as possible.
We're doing this in a couple ways, the first and BIGGEST way is completely re-writing the AI, hoping for a smoother product.
The second way goes hand-in-hand with the first, (and the point we've sold out to hell with) Is our animations! We're working on a lot of real-time animations for the game completely by hand.

We're also completely re-texturing/placing everything that we can, as the atmosphere is VERY important.


So...? When is the game releasing?

Alright, so this is a topic that I feel we need to actually (FULLY) address. We are completely overhauling the DEMO portion of the game, and re-releasing these new changes as a 2.0 of sorts. Because we want you all to enjoy this update, when it comes out, PART 1 of the caverns will be implemented into the new release of the demo! But yeah other than that I can't really give you guys much else. There is no release date (YET) but we hope to have one soon. Thank you all for the support, and we're excited to keep sharing our passion with you!

Current State of the Game - POSTPONED (for a short time)

As we're beginning to wrap up development for the demo (OCT 20TH), we are working hard to bring some scares! (as much as possible ) I am excited to show a sneak peak of Impurities Jumpscare!(To clarify, the right image is sped up.) Happy Spooktber! 🎃🎃

Devlog 3 I am tired 4 hours spent texturing and rendering and I want to cry

Cams 7, 3, and 10, are fully done except for the hangers on cam 3. Again, Thank you for all of the support and have an amazing thursday night!
