Every old 2D version of Shady

These are all of the models for the mascot of Shady Scareshark's Aquarium from my... much older projects, before I started 3D modeling. That being said, at least for me, the earlier versions are kinda nostalgic anyway. I have these sorted by newest to oldest, the improvement is definitely clear. I made these all in scratch a while ago.

I don't exactly remember what each game was, but the first three were in the A Week at Shady's series, then there was A Week at Shady's Remastered, then the three games in the Shady's series, and the last two are from a 2D version of Shady Waters that got cancelled. The weirdest part I'd say about the earlier models is how detailed the endoskeletons were compared to the models themselves, but I was probably like 9 when I made them and most likely just used somebody else's model. I'll let the third version speak for itself, and every version after that I only made the parts of the endoskeleton that were showing.

The seventh model, FYI has a pumpkin on its head because that game was Halloween themed, but I also only spent like half a month making it so that explains the... uh... quality.

This a cool setup?

MOVE OUT OF THE WAY

I'm going to make a few more scratch games before I move to professional game development and begin the main Recursive canon games.

I think this is the perfect model for the game

I got bored so I spent three hours condensing the Rellick Legacy into one drawing.

I haven't gotten much done yet, but I love what I currently have. Normally there are 3 stages before Sammy will jumpscare you, but there's a small chance he will before then, which is what happened in my first time playing.

Gameplay so far. Most of what I need to add is visual, as you can see, but development is going well. This was recorded in 20/20/20/20/0 mode, FYI, which is why it's so chaotic.

Here's the refined version that the actual game will use. I just updated the tech a little bit so it would work better, and because it's supposed to be almost a century later.

This is what the inside of Rust may have looked like. I just thought seeing the inside would be pretty cool, and I don't know about you, but I'd say it turned out well.
