Patch Notes - 2019/12/31
FoodEater is finally finished, just in time for the end of the year. Now there is an obstacle mode, separate high scores for different game settings, high scores and user preferences are saved to the computer, along with a bunch of other changes. But most importantly, food definitely, probably, most likely doesn't spawn under the snake anymore. I think. Third time is the charm, right?
Additions:
Obstacle mode - replaces 20 empty tiles with walls for some additional difficulty
6 separate high scores for each speed setting and their respective obstacle mode
High scores and user preferences are now saved to the computer
Chosen speed and obstacle settings are displayed in the user interface
Windows and Mac game icons
Changes:
High scores now actively update during the game instead of updating once at the end of the game
Increased frog duration to 5 seconds
The frog can no longer spawn at the very start of the game
Minor UI adjustments
Minor performance optimizations
Bug Fixes:
The frog now disappears when the snake crashes instead of remaining on the screen for its remaining duration
Food can't spawn under the snake anymore
