For a while I've been having technical difficulties, with Windows constantly corrupting and BSoDing frequently, and I finally figured out why. My C: drive, a solid-state disk, is failing. Health is now at 9%, meaning it could fail any minute now.
I ordered a new drive, upgrading from 120GB to 500, meaning I can store more apps and tools! I also saved all my login infos and passwords to make the transition seamless. The short break is because I will need to replace the drive on my computer before continuing. I can reinstall most apps, that, I don't care. But the files are essential.
Super Smash Bros. Feud, and its project folder, was the first thing to get backed up to my external hard drive, so no worries there. :) That, and some of the obsolete apps I still use for the game, like Max 2022 and the old Adobe Fireworks (precursor to Photoshop)
All my in-development assets, music, etc. are also safe, which is nice to know. I'll report back as soon as the new drive is up and running and Windows is installed.
So yeah, that's what's happening. I'll be back soon, I hope!!
