Post Hello used an animation technique called motion capture. Used optical cameras to track reflective balls velcroed to a morph suit to capture all the movements in-game. I used opti track motive to manually track missing markers. 1/2

Making my own virtual art installation, but first need a venue

I'll be at DU Arcade this Saturday the 27th. If you're in Colorado, come on down to this free event full of awesome indie games from a bunch of cool folks.

Then after cleaning, I used motion builder to characterize (match the mocap skeleton to the model rig) and retarget (skeleton and character aren't the same size, so offsetting joints). I even made a fake bed to have something to fall off of! 2/2

Any indie devs in Taiwan who didn't get to make it to the games showcase in Yuanshan this past weekend? I'm here for another three weeks.
