For this #ScreenshotSaturday, I bring to you... water!

I know that water is a kind of hard to implement correctly in games, but I couldn't pass on making flooded caves!

Don't mind the missing death animation, btw.

As soon as you touch water, you'll be slowed down a little. I didn't want to make it like Super Metroid though.

When you are submerged in it, the music will muffle and you'll jump about 1 tile higher (per jump), become floatier, and your stomp move won't go all the way down.

This gif was made before I added post-processing and the oxygen system. For now, you have about a minute of oxygen, and getting hit hard will decrease that by 10 seconds.

Once you start drowning, you'll start using your energy to stay alive and the screen will get darker and darker until you drown.

Hey everyone, it's been a while! Read the Article for an actual update.

I added a shield throw ability to the game. No indication yet, but it does more damage the more it bounces. I hope your trick shots are on point!

I updated the banner for my game! It's based off one of the first original pixel art pieces I ever drew (2nd picture).

Art isn't an area I'm strong in, so I'm pretty happy with this! Well, for now at least.
