In Terms of RELEASE...


RELEASE DETAILS

  • The game will likely release on December 21st of 2020.

  • You will not be able to download the game until then.

  • The game will be released in two formats, an .exe for tethered headsets (think Rift, Vive, etc) and an .APK for wireless headsets if you want to sideload manually. (Quest and Quest 2 only). You can use the .exe with your Quest/Q2 if you have an official Oculus Link cable. The game will most likely run better on tethered headsets, but I will work to make it comfortable to play wirelessly.

  • No, there will not be a flat mode release. There's probably 600 other 3D Flumpty remakes, go give them some downloads if they look good. This is a VR game strictly.

  • No, there will not be a Mac or Linux build of this game. I have no idea how you've even managed to get VR to work on that anyways.

  • The game will be free, as required by law and also respect for Scott and Jonathan, but it is costing me some money, so throwing a donation my way via Patreon is massively appreciated. You can find this in my profile bio. This is entirely a passion project and I never ever had any intentions of profiting from it.

No update yet today, I will work on this game a little later today. I got my headset and I've literally been playing VR all day to be honest. Can't tear myself away from it. I promise I'll get some work done, haha. Take care guys!

But I think mid to late February is quite a realistic goal, considering I'm back to work on this.

Fun Facts Regarding ONaF 2 VR and Myself.

Before you, the new banner and thumbnail for Sweet Harmony's Gamejolt page! It was a hard work to make it, mostly on the banner, I wanted to make something amazing and stand out.

New news is closer than you think ;)

Made a VR menu. Kinda cool, bit awkward with Flumpty just standing there. I'll probably add some sort of visual gag. But yeah, I thought it would be clever for the little side cursor to be an eyeball sprite.

Breathing new life into a classic FNaF fangame with a VR remake!

One Night at Flumpty's 2 VR is now underway! The game will be available for Oculus devices and ported to the Vive and Index later.

My development unit (my shiny new Oculus Quest 2) is on its way!
