Introducing: the switch-up mechanic! During the enemy turn, you have two counters to choose from: jump, and hammer! The former is easier to time right, but the latter deals more damage, allowing for some risk and reward.

Goouls are back! Complete with new sprites and slightly better attack tells! (missing a few sfx but we're working on it!) As well as a much nicer test background courtesy of Gardy! We keep getting closer to re-implementing everything the old demo had!
As our way of adapting Mario & Luigi's field actions, Plink the robot will transform into different tools for Tara & Vyn to use! Furthermore, replacing the Mini Mario ability, you can also control Plink on his own! His segments will have unique obstacles.
With the overworld's base mechanics close to being fully implemented, we're going back and finally progressing the battle system again! Here's a look at some new animations, new UI, and new.. well, everything! (BG is a placeholder though) [🔊Sound on!]
Happy #WIPWednesday! Are you working on a game? Making some art? Practicing a song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!
Items are usable yet again! Complete with a new, more expressive and fluid animation. We're getting closer and closer to getting back where we were with the old battle system... but now with so much more style and charm! #Varminal #Indiegame #Indiedev
The Knightling launches on August 28! Wishlist it now so you don't miss out: https://bit.ly/KnightlingSteam
To celebrate the game's impending release, we've added The Knightling Pack and The Knightling Community Pack back to the Shop!
In between us adding and re-implementing other animations and features, we finished both characters' item use animations.
Now they can throw them to each other, just like before, and also have a new animation for drinking stuff!
Tara's Jump counterattack has been re-implemented as well, now with completely new animations! In the old beta, we just reused the overworld jump sprites, but I wanted to go the extra mile, and I think it looks way more satisfying this way!
