Well... As I was working on some internal improvements, I noticed that the launcher was looking for the old igsf2 files, instead of the new .isdp files. Since D0.31 can't read them (due to changes in how the game saves data), the save manager ended up being useless for a lot of people. So, I uploaded a new update for Windows users that fixes this issue. Also, Northbridge implements a new compression algorithm for the save file archives. I may end up implementing this to the game entirely. For now, the save archives are a little smaller (although it does take a tad longer to complete the task).
Next up
Added a simple audio system to the launcher.
It's pretty early, but here's a look at a mob manager, handling the enemies in the game. The code streamlines the programming of the enemies. Hopefully, I can expand it to more useful ways.
Added the option to rebuild the cache. This will clear the cache and then decompress the files from the packages.
Enjoy a nice dish, get a nice buff. What's not to like?
A small teaser for the next update.
A small teaser for the next tech test.
Waz zis? An overhauled map? Yes. Coming soon.
A bit of an old but goodie coming back: Quick Load! In an upcoming update, you can jump back to where you left off with a push of a button.
Added achievements. Because why not?
Who did this?
