Next up

A lot has been done in April, and the project is finally starting to move in the gameplay direction. The intro level is finished, so expect a dev log coming soon and more updates on the 5 levels that World 1 will incude.

I am working on the game. In fact, today is our first anniversary. yay!

FIRST DEMO IS OUT!!!

After almost a year and a half in development, I'm ready to announce the first demo of the game!

Includes 3 levels and a few collectibles!

Probably more than a year after the creation of the forest stage placeholder background I've actually made a proper one. It's poor but it works. Also this is how backgrounds look now instead of scrolling.

Sorry for the long wait! After a while, the second dev log is finished.

Working on the last level of world 1. We might be getting close to a demo.

new addition:

difficulty settings

they don't affect enemy or player stats (like hp or damage), but how the game behaves itself instead.

lots of placeholders. yum!

I'll soon begin posting updates on the game's development more frequenly. For now, take this room from the new introduction/tutorial level.

Currently working on upgrading how the levels look. I'll also add a proper background to finally replace the placeholder one.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.
