MAJOR UPDATE V1.1.0 Out Now! | Extras, Custom Night, Fixes, New Content

NOTE: THE PATCH NOTES CONTAIN SPOILERS, IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME YET, JUST IGNORE THE 'SPOILER' TEXT

What's New:

  • Added a Intro Cinematic

  • Lighting V3, No more Muddy Textures, Better, Higher Quality Reflections.

  • Graphics enhancement
Much higher resolution Models & Textures, Better Fog, Volumetrics, etc

  • In-Game PC

To Access the Extras Menu (and it has a few Easter Eggs too)

  • Level Selector

Pick a Level to Play. Works as a Checkpoint, You'll move on to the Next level after completion.

  • Custom Night

The 'Main point and click section', And, A New office, (Technically) 2 Animatronics and All New mechanics.

  • Model Viewer

  • Added a Jumpscare for Freddy

  • Animatronics now have Multiple LODs

    Changes:

  • Added 'Quit' and 'Credits' button to Main Menu
When you download the game via the website, You would've had a Credits txt, but Most downloads came from the Game jolt Launcher, so most players didn't notice, Potentially making them think i didn't credit the Modelers/SFX Creators.

  • Slight Animation rework on the Ending Cinematic, Making it much Smoother, and more Realistic.

  • Added footstep sounds for Gravel and Wood. Pallets, Rock, etc will now have proper sounds.

  • Some Jumpscare Animations Changed and Shortened.
Because 22 Seconds is WAY too long for a Jumpscare animation lol
(For anyone curious, it was just a 'cinematic' animation that led into a Jumpscare)

  • Removed more Unused Materials & Textures.

  • Increased Audio Compression, as low as it could go til it got Noisy, or noticeably Lower Quality, Avg 40% to 10% Size.

  • 'Merch Button' has been renamed to 'Cool Button'
Didn't want anyone thinking the game ACTUALLY had merch.

  • Dying to Funtime Foxy in their Chase Sequence will now spawn you facing the Vent-area, and Further away from Foxy, Giving you more time to Escape.

  • Added a Coin Sound effect to Candy Cadet, and More Delay between lines.

  • Moved Radio from FFPP Area, from the Kitchen to Dining area.

Didn't like the way it turned out, it wasn't previously a 'Cheap Jumpscare' but it was made into a Trigger to not distract Players from Candy Cadet. So instead of removing it entirely, i moved it to where not many would notice.
In the original version, Before Candy Cadet was added, You'd go up the elevator, and hear "My Grandfather's Clock" Playing from a Distance, which would lead you towards the kitchen. I wanted more ways of adding story to the game besides Voice Logs & Lore Notes, So, Candy cadet was added!

  • Changed a Candy Cadet Line:

Old: "This made him feel safe,"

New: "This made him feel at ease"

  • Reworked parts of Foxy's Stage Performance, adding more Animatronic-ness to his Animation. You can view it in the Model Viewer, so no need to replay the game!

Bug Fixes:

  • You can no longer jump in vents.

  • Fixed missing Collision in the Daycare.

  • Fixed issue in Point and Click Sections, causing you to have to Double click to interact with Objects.

  • Fixed an issue in Pause Menus causing 'Exit' and 'Main Menu' to not work properly.

  • Major optimization across all Levels,
previously, I'd get 55% Utilization At 4K, Medium, with TSR at 26% (Super Performance)
now i get 45% Utilization at 4K, Medium, with TSR at 76%! (Quality)

Important Textures have also been lightly raised in Quality, expect a slightly Larger file size. (2.45GB to 2.65GB)

  • Fixed a bug where Candy Cadets Intro Audio would cut off
(This was actually a bug with the Audio Importer, I just reimported the audio and everything fixed itself)

Cut Changes:

Awhile ago, I said I wanted to add a Vanny Chase Scene, and Endless Nights, these were canceled, and for in my opinion, good reason.

The chase scene felt like a bit too much at the VERY beginning of the game, and finding a way to end it seemed pretty difficult too. Seemed it would be better as a way to 'scare' the Player Character.

The Endless Night has been Canceled,

The Point and Click sections in the game have very few animatronics/mechanics, during testing, it felt pretty boring to go after the same 2 or 3 animatronics for 15+ minutes at a time, so it was removed. BUT, with Act having up-to 6 animatronics at a time, the endless night will likely return there.

Gamejolt Integration was Removed,

It was VERY difficult to integrate, and I felt it wasn't worth it, neither for my time, or the Players, since they'd have to wait even longer for this update.

Known Issues
Clicking anywhere in Custom Night menus besides the buttons will cause the mouse to disappear, Clicking a button again will make the mouse Reappear.

The Settings Menu clips into the Settings Button, Does not affect usage of either button/menu

In Conclusion:

The Last Update for ACT 1! Pretty happy with the current State of the game, Hope y'all will be as well!

~1H 20M of total Content

11 Unique Jumpscares.

Multiple Secrets, Easter Eggs, and 1 Lore Note.

If you played through the game, and didn't see the Lore Note, It's in Roxy Raceway near the beginning if you're curious!
