On the off chance that the new #KOFXV character was Kasumi, I colored her KOFR2 sprite. That wasn't the case, but I figured I would share it anyway. #NGPC #KOF #NeoGeo

I am now an Unreal Engine developer. Even if Unity Engine walks every word back how could anyone trust them again? Do we continue on where at any moment they can retroactively change the rules? I will not live under that fear. I'm done with them. Deets

Most didn't realize that part of the colorization specification was maintaining 100% backwards compatibility with the original NeoGeo Pocket 3-Color look via palette swap only. I enforced this by mandating every new sprite to be made *first* in 3-Color.

Wasn't feeling good today (or yesterday). I guess I really overdid it more than I thought during that game jam month...

Kirby, Nibbler, and Orangey kept me company while resting in bed.

Junior and Kirby visiting me together in the computer room today.

I'm starting to feel more healed from the game jam crunch. I have to plan what's next soon.

This new stray has gotten friendly. He looks a lot like Nibbler, maybe they're brothers? What should I name him?

I found unreleased dev footage!

WIP Rugal 98 stage. Rugal was going to be the Arcade boss. Also notice the bubbles spawning during knockdown events! #gamedev #streetfighter #KOF

(This game is cancelled because Unity Engine betrayed all of it's devs.)

Been going 200%, but I have so much left to do to make the one month Fighting Game Game-Jam deadline...

I officially joined the April Fighting Game Game Jam on Itch, hosted by people I know.

I got some of my friends, Pocket Fighter EX crew, and others, together to make a demo!

More details & Updates

More Game Jam progress. I had to remake the basic 2D alignment system cause I did it wrong... It's a bit more complex than it seems, since it is made for 2.5D. I can now easily add lock-on, and other location based features. #gamedev
