Each island in game (either there will be 3 or 4, probably 3 though) will be a hub world that leads to different levels. Each island will have various things you can do on it, fight mini-bosses, collect mojo, and find secrets. The first island will be the one I've been showcasing recently, the demo island that exists will probably be in-game but not as a main island more like a mini-game sort of area. As for main game-play, this is meant to be like the cancelled landed so this is a re-telling of Crash 1, so Crash will start with no power-ups gaining them by the end of the game (these will be considered abilities in-game. And they'll be his move-set he gains from 3). I'll also have some temporary power-ups that I'll be showcasing much later when I've actually designed them. That's about it for this post, as any other game-play related things are secret-ish for the time being

Christmas update, coming sometime soon! #CrashBandicoot #Fangame #indie
Thought it'd be cool to show off what the first island looks like so far, so here's a few screenshots.
Would you guys be fine with another sandbox demo where you just explore around and there's no end goal or anything? Just the ability to get a feel for the game, as I want to release a playable demo, but I don't want to reveal anything story-wise yet
Just a little test recreation of The Woods of Light I've been working on. Not a 1:1 recreation, just made it to make it.
Development has Re-started! Read below..
May as well drop another preview
Update No. 1: Here's the current state of the game, currently I have just the basic movement in with some WIP animations. And art from R2/R3 for the assets
Christmas update is actually close to done, I'm deciding to just drop it when I feel its fine. Remember it is extremely WIP still, and this is the last sandbox release I do till a proper future demo. This is not going to have a lot to it
I'm probably going to release a demo of this level, once it's complete. Just need to finish a few systems up, get some animations in, and finish the last part of the level. Will also make a little teaser or something before releasing the demo
I've been hard at work making some of the basic features in Rayman. Here's the purple lums in action, well, in a screenshot. Thinking about posting a little playthrough of the Woods of Light level I've been making
