Over the past month, I’ve worked on something that should make the game more accessible to people with slow computers: framerate independence. If you don’t know what that is, basically, games without framerate independence slow down whenever the framerate drops. Now, the gameplay will stay at the same speed even if there’s a sudden lag spike.

The game did have the framework for framerate-independence before, but the physics were inconsistent at best and game-breaking at worst. Now, though, it works nearly perfectly, with little-to-no difference in movement at different framerates.
