Plans for TB 1.3


Hello again! Since I’m currently working on content that will indirectly affect XL, I figured I’d give some details as to what I have planned for the next Test Build update.

The next update will focus mainly on getting the overworld into a more complete state (seeing as it’s currently just a black space with some decor). I’m still working out wether on not I build the map in the editor, or model a full-scale multi-purpose version and use that. Either way, the overworld will be changed the next time the game is updated.

I’ll also be starting work on a saving system soon. Not sure how hard it’ll be to implement it, and how to sort out the variables that need saving, but I’ll sort it out soon enough.

Other than that, the rest of the content in the works will be on hold until I get more made elsewhere (namely making the components for the battles).

Next up

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!

Yeah, we're doing this.

Motivation has returned in a substantial enough way.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

It's been a long time coming...

How about we change things up?

New project is having a fun, early outing.

I might be having too much fun with this process...

Suppose it was about time that some of these skills got a little extra kick.
