Quick Preview: Shop, Bytes, and Chip tweaks

Hey, all! While work on getting BB and JJ's skills working is still ongoing, I figured I could fit in a quick preview of some fixes that I've done with Lolbit's shop, and the Bytes and Chips frames.

For starters, Lolbit now properly tracks what's been purchased. The days of buying the same byte are over!

I also re-positioned the player's token counter to a spot that (probably) won't be taken up by store options.

The Bytes frame has also gotten a bit of a facelift, so that unlocked bytes are easier to keep track of, as well as letting you know how many bytes you can select.

Also, Medpods are coming. :)

The Chips page has also gotten some of the same treatment, though some additional tweaks will be done.

Well, that's about it for this quick update... though I'm pretty sure the next progress update should have some big news...

'Till next time!

That time of year again.

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!

New project is having a fun, early outing.

It's been a long time coming...

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)

Still deciding if it's worth committing to a full rebuild, but I at least figured out a better way to handle the party swapping mechanic.

Save file stuff (sidequests, maps and "autosaving") might currently be a troublesome mess, but at least development on OCN is going pretty smooth.

Figured it out.
