Portal
The mismatched art style was annoying me so I pixelized most of the new art.
Some portal effects + being able to view the destination. Eventually I'll have a tracker UI but a nice quick view is also cool.
Thinking about the name Kitsuneko 64 (formerly known as TeaTM's Unnamed Collectathon)
New water + waterfall (And a mandatory secret behind the waterfall, this is a video game after all).
I updated my lava shader to include some rocky bits using voronoi noise.
Visited portals are now green. I'm unsure how to make this colorblind accessible, but it's a bit better now.
Cool death screen that took me too long. Still not perfect but whatever.
π§ͺ A little behind the scenes on my system, while not perfect, random two way persistent portals are a thing. The system builds a map of the game as you play, sort of like a train building it's own tracks as it moves.
