Final visual iteration of the cutscene that we posted before yesterday! We wanted to improve the old iteration due to after posting, we were like "Why must we see the flaws after posting..?" and so we refined it! (Still no audio tho, just visuals...)
It's been a while since our last update so here, have a work in progress of a room for The Twisted Ones portion of the game (room layout is not final).
TL;DR: We've hit a snag with this game's art, We're slowing down on trying to push out more posts, A rough look at the gameplay loop, and more music is in the pipeline! (Also this is a long post so be warned... We like our Wall of Text info-dump style!)
Back at it again with LMMS fusing with our ADHD in GUI form...
The poll is closed and the winner is Side 2. Here's the shaders/BG in action! Onto the Act 2 overworld... UGH. (This will take a while...)
Updated the visuals of some shaders that'll be used for the UI of the game! It'll add some much needed style we think!
The shader allows for Color Bleeding//"Leaking" (The most prime example/showcase is the Rainbow text character's text & the credits!)
We know we've posted this a few hours ago... But now it has... AUDIO! SOUNDS! NOISES! And all that fun stuff! Anyways, with that out of the way, time to finish that William battle that we've been procrastinating on finishing... Just... After we sleep...
Inventory works! (Also changing up the style of overworld character sprites to not have outlines. Tell us what you all think!)
The results are in... This will be the new Charlie design + the baseline for overworld character sprites going forward!
