Thank you for being part of Fling!


Hey everyone!

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who read my devlogs here on GameJolt.
I really appreciate your feedback and support during development. It really helps a lot.

I also want to announce that I’ll start working on my new game. I’m still not sure what it is going to be about, but I’ll definitely
continue doing these devlogs for that game as well.

I’ll upload one more devlog about Fling with my stats from all the different platforms and some of my thoughts on those platforms.

Dark Queen is set in early 15th century Croatia. Players take on a role of the Crusader on a quest to rescue his beloved from the Dark Queen’s castle.

Inspired by Croatian literature and Slavic folklore, specifically the August Šenoa's The Snake Queen.

How we made our combat more juicy

During playtesting sessions we realized that our combat system didn't feel as engaging as it should.

Read about the steps we took to make it feel more impactful

I made it so that both top and bottom are full of spikes, also I fixed some issues with camera and this moving wall with spikes. Still need to figure out how to add more variety to this mode.
