Patch Notes v0.2.0.24
General
-Big point items now have 10x the value of normal point values instead of 20x.
-Boss Defeat score is no longer multiplied by the synergy combo.
-End of stage Lives Bonus no longer gives you score if you have no lives left.
-A score entry screen now appears before the continue menu.
-Instead of a continue penalty at the end of the stage, your score is now cut in half immediately when you use a continue.
-Player characters cannot move before the stage starts.
-Some changes to how enemy shields work. Enemies can now have multiple shields.
-Enemies that are shielded now have a red overlay to indicate that they can't be hit.
-Fixed a bug that caused a fatal error on the pause menu.
-Fixed a bug where ability cooldown timers would pause when swapping characters.
-Fixed a bug where available continues would reset when a new level starts in Story Mode.
-The high score screen is now sectioned into overall score and individual levels.
-Save data format has changed, and the game now asks you if you want to clear out old save data.
Spells/Synergy System
-Synergy combo has been capped at x50.
-Combo now only iterates on a successful ability use.
-Gale: Deal a critical hit to an enemy.
-Fia: Pass through a hazard with time warp.
-Casey: Break red bullets/shields or deal a stun.
-Synergy timer now lasts for 10-15 seconds. The higher the combo, the shorter the time.
-Synergy timer is now paused during boss pattern transitions and cutscenes.
-Maximum damage buff for Synergy Boost is now 50%.
-The Synergy Indicator on the HUD has a new visual design.
Gem Power System
-Point items now use Gem Power as their score value.
-Successful abilities add points to the Gem Power value.
-Gale: 50 per successful critical
-Fia: 10 per hazard, 10 for absorbing a purple bullet
-Casey: 50 per stun or shield break, 10 per bullet shattered
-Getting hit or using a bomb resets the Gem Power to the floor, keeping 10% of the Gem Power you earned above the floor.
-The Gem Power floor increases by 100 points with each boss defeat.
-Gem Power is now capped at 20000 from the start, but the cap increases by 5000 for each stage cleared.
-Gem Power values carry over between stages in Story Mode
Gale
-Landing a critical hit now spawns 3 point items instead of 8.
-Crit strike no longer lands criticals through shields.
Fia
-Fia's missed ability cooldown has been reduced to 30 frames.
-Fia's success ability cooldown has been reduced to 50 frames.
-Fia's time warp absorbing hitbox is now three times the size of her normal hitbox.
Casey
-Shield breaks no longer spawn point items.
-Ability super success cooldown decreased to 50 frames.
-Ability regular success cooldown decreased to 30 frames.
Ch 1 - The Steel Butterfly Appears
-The sword patterns at the end of the level now contains different colored projectiles, to help with maintaining synergy combo.
