Well, a new month and that is always the time for the monthly update on all my open projects.
When it comes to this game, I guess things will be boring in this update.
RPGs always take a large sum of work before the actual content will be implemented and this game is no exception. Of course, half of the code could be copied from Star Story, and that saved me a lot of trouble this time, I guess that’s the advantage of using the same engine, with only a few small updates to make it support a few more features to help me to make this game more professional than the previous one. At least that’s what I keep telling myself :)
The city of Vandar has been for 75% completed. I only need to add the stores, but as they have no value during the prologue, they were not on my priority list.
A small start has been made with Jake’s prologue dungeon, the Dragon Cave, but as you can guess this is the first area where combat takes place and thus
All my current attention has been absorbed in setting that in order. I’ve already made great progress on that.
The plans for the upcoming month are:
Finishing the combat routines, or at least far enough for all prologues ;)
And completing Jake’s prologue mission
If I can manage that I will try to record that prologue mission and post it here as a DevLog in order to give you a little idea of how things go.
