I’ve received a lot of inquiries as to what exactly Bast is. Some say a bat, others say a cat. Some people have even thought some more outlandish things, such as a flower.

From now on, this won’t be a problem.

Welcome to Egg and the Sky Shards.

As you can see, Bast has been replaced with an egg. This new character plays almost identically to Bast (aside from the dash, which has been removed).

We’ve also removed swimming, as eggs can’t swim.
We hope these changes will lead to exciting new gameplay opportunities!
