It’s time to reveal our second miniboss!

On an unrelated note, I have two different styles of handling checkpoints and lives that I’m having trouble deciding between. I thought I’d have a poll and see what you guys prefer! Would you rather:
Have health remain what it is and have a checkpoint after every door, but have a limited number of lives that resets at the start of every level. Running out of health sends you to the start of the room; running out of lives sends you back to the start of the level.
Have health increase, but no checkpoints. Running out of health sends you back to the level’s start.
