Well, didn't think I'd need to upload TWO builds in a single day, but even more issues came up (because ofc they did)

A third encounter was improved (Loox is now Oculoux!) and more bugs were fixed!

The changelog (SPOILERS!) is in the article below...


Changelog:

  • Added the more customized acts/dialogue for Froggit, Whimsun (Flutterlyte) and Loox (Oculoux)

  • Added a clearer warning system to the Red SOUL Undyne the Undying attack with an inward spear circle

  • Fixed the speedrun timer stopping at the end of Outlands genocide

  • Fixed a softlock that happened when you started playing a song on Napstablook's stereo, left the room, came back and tried to access the stereo again

  • Fixed Napstablook's WIP song overlapping with music if a song from the stereo was playing

  • RNG used for attacks is now no longer affected by the actions taken during your turn in battle

  • RNG is now no longer triggered on every game tick, except for when an encounter is immenent

  • More dialogue errors fixed (ofc!)

Next up

MORE dialogue sprites, this time for a previously mentioned goober. I still won't spoil anything, but they're used as Petrichor's app icon for a very good reason. This character now has the most dialogue sprites of any in the game! (26 total)

Facial expressions for another character are done! Only one character left to add faces for in the next demo.

And now, the other character's facial expressions are done as well! All characters now have walk sprites, dialogue sounds, and facial expressions, which means I can freely write the rest of the next demo dialogue.
