Who wants to playtest night one of Shady Waters? I need to make sure it's not almost impossible, but I don't want to waste a day that I could be doing productive stuff, so if you want very early access, download the .HTML file before this is closed!

There may be bugs. but I'm not even entirely finished with the starting cutscene, so you shouldn't be surprised... do tell me if you find any, though. I'll still try to fix them.

The point stays: If anybody wants to playtest night one, then download the file and when you're done playing, tell me how many times you survived night one / how many times you tried it, and some recommendations for anything I could add.

And maybe also tell me if it's too difficult or too easy, because I, personally don't know if it's super hard or if I just suck at the game.

I can confirm it's possible to survive night one, though! I think it's insanely difficult, but that's what playtesting's for.

Edit: Since I haven't added instructions yet, I want any potential playtesters to know that to look at your computer in the game, you have to click on the monitor on your desk. (For night one, that is.)

MOVE OUT OF THE WAY

Here's the refined version that the actual game will use. I just updated the tech a little bit so it would work better, and because it's supposed to be almost a century later.

Starting work on night 3.

Don't worry, the graphics for the room are nowhere near being done, I'll add a lot more detail, I just need a base to work with while I get it set up.

Also, I know how bad the video quality is, sorry!

I fixed collapsible frames, this is how they would probably work in real life.

The point was for them to be used as normal animatronics, but they could also fold up for storage.

I haven't gotten much done yet, but I love what I currently have. Normally there are 3 stages before Sammy will jumpscare you, but there's a small chance he will before then, which is what happened in my first time playing.

Still struggling on trying to think of a reason for players to look at the cameras. If you guys have any ideas, I'd be happy to hear them, plus you'll get your name in the credits.

All the concepts / concept art for this game that I haven't posted yet

Yes, I know my handwriting sucks.

A Week At Shady's is not canon, but I decided to add that same room and pretty much the same gameplay for night eight.

Also, I needed to add some form of comedy at least once, so yes, I did add that desk fan to cool down the computer.
