Performance issues have been resolved. They were caused by Visustella Plugins being obfuscated. Removing some of the layers of obfuscation has resolved a majority of the performance issues on the test systems used here.

Now that's out the way, game news!
All is pretty much done at this point. Testing, testing and some more testing.
Couple of plugins are causing performance issues, sourcing alternatives. Once ironed out, this should be good to go!

Loading...Currently rewriting the Arena location and how it works, avoiding plugin use.
Once a troop is selected, you can pick an amount between 1-3 to fight. Unique creatures will always be 1. Categories will be locked until you reach the applicable game stage.

Loading...A WIP of how you can escape death. With a certain accessory equipped, deaths grip will not take hold the first time you should have died. This accessory state will only apply once per battle, and is reset after the battle ends.
Collating the last few years of changes and putting then into monthly categories that summaries core things done then. It's interesting to see how many aspects were redone over the years, some i'd even forgotten about!
Side note: To Do List Growing lol.
A milestone was recently hit! The game is now playable from beginning to end (one of).
This is a milestone that I am incredibly proud of as it always felt out of reach, given the additions and time it was taking to achieve. I hope to show more off soon!
Not so much an update, but I've updated the games screenshots with some new images. I realized I had neglected this aspect for quite some time, so enjoy!
The end draws nearer, in this realm anyway.

Loading...Another revisit of one of the more original sections, this one being the underground passage to the Monument of Govel. For some reason the video amplifies the smoke effect, it is less obstructive in reality.

Loading...Revisited the Old Ruins spot from the beginning of the game. I wanted a way to effectively show you're entering the interior of somewhere, whilst also blocking it all off from the outside. A little refinement possibly needed, but I feel this works well.

Loading...A quick check in, everything is still going ahead! I have started a new job recently so time has been lacking a little unfortunately.
In the meantime, here is the revised village well. Rewards can be states, items, gold or nothing.
