What do you think?

Really love how this looks so far, the Frutiger Aero theme is nice to look at, it reminds me of old Playrix games back in like 2014 (Specifically Fishdom)

I'll be checking it out once it comes out in November, excited to play this! ^^

Very promising!

The whole thing just brings a peaceful vibe.
Definitely coming back when it releases in November!

FinLab is a pet simulator merged with a tycoon game. Manage an ecosystem of fictional fish species ranging from fruit themed fish to undead skeleton fish. Discovery is key. Uncover many different fish species all with their own behaviors and needs.

As a tank owner, your goal is to keep your fish as satisfied and as happy as possible, and sell them back for a profit. Alongside this, you can also unlock many different decoration items and themes to design your own personal tank.

It's your tank, your way. Discover this ecosystem of unique and bizarre fish species in a Frutiger Aero themed world. Be creative, be strategic, be evil, be good, no one can decide except you.

Notice: There is a visual bug on one of the decor items, where it says it unlocks at tank level 20 but this is not the case. It's simply displaying the wrong requirement, this is unlockable and 100% completion is possible. I'll fix this soon.

Hi all, I know the release is a little early lol. I absolutely grinded this week and was way ahead of schedule. It's a fairly short game, but it's one I'm super proud of. This has been one of my most fun projects in a while. I hope others enjoy it too.

My new web game FinLab is out now for free! Manage exotic and occult fish species. And discover new species as you play. Unlock decor and themes to make your tank yours. It's your tank, your way.

Good news everyone! I finished making all of the content for the game (for 1.0). Now I need to balance, tweak it, polish it, etc. the boring stuff. We're on target for an early Nov/late Oct release. I'm so excited to share my game.

Today was optimization day. I was having a CPU bottleneck, and the more content in the game the worse it got. But I fixed it, now I get a stable 300-400FPS (although it will be limited to your refresh rate because WebGL)

I made two more decor sets yesterday as well. And fixed some bugs in build tests. And 2 more themes.

So far I've added 13 unique fish. Some of them are really fun. Spent most of yesterday cranking them out. They're completely unbalanced but once all of them are done I'll do a huge balancing pass. Still have some more fish ideas.

My game has a name and page! I'm aiming for a release in early November however that's not a 100% guarantee. This is just a hobby project and it's done when it's done. The target platform is WebGL. I'm super proud of this and excited to share.
